I ordered CHEESE of the MONTH recently. The cheese was FANTASTIC. Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 cheers were in bits. Not sure if it was due to the packing (which appeared good) or the shipping company. I live just outside Atlanta so it was not traveling a long distance. Hopefully, next month’s cheese will be fine.
This ten year old cheddar is outstanding with Branston pickle on rye for a classic cheese and pickle sandwich. The crumbly texture and wonderful sharp flavor make it a delicious experience.
I went to Capella Cheese today to pick up several cheeses, crackers, toasts, olives, nuts cured meats for a charcuterie board Im pulling together tonight. I’ve been here at least once before, but always forget the huge selection of international cheeses they have in house. Highly recommend Capella Cheese for all your charcuterie and pairing needs!

I’ve always loved smelly cheeses, so I've been looking for a store selling a high-grade selection. I stumbled across Capella Cheese and was so happy to find such a superb selection. On my first visit, I purchased blue Shropshire cheese and several others. I couldn’t believe how fantastic Blue Shropshire was.
Shropshire is a soft cheese that crumbles and is not as sharp as Stilton. It has a strong flavor and a slightly tangy aroma. It is slightly sour but sharper than Stilton and generally creamier. Shropshire Blue is made by Billy Kevan and his team in Nottinghamshire using traditional animal rennet exclusively for Neal's Yard Dairy. It is creamy and savory with a slight peppery blue flavor.
