
L'Amuse Signature Gouda is a Dutch cheese and is considered the best of all goudas! This is a classic well-aged gouda, with strong notes of butterscotch, caramel and a bit salty. It has a beautiful amber color, plus a dense and crumbly texture. It is made from pasteurized cow's milk in Northern Holland. The wheels of cheese are hand-selected and matured for 2 years at warm temperatures. This allows the cheese to develop deep amber color with protein crystals, and fully-rounded flavor. This is a hard cheese with velvety texture and nutty, buttery, salty flavor, plus hints of caramel and hazelnuts. Pair with bold wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon or Bordeaux blends.
